"Subconsciously, I actually knew that her time had come. You feel and see something like that, but there's always a glimmer of hope. In the conversation with Mirjam, she indicated that Zetske was ready to go and that she was in a lot of pain. Such confirmation is painful, but deep down you know it's right. Zetske reaffirmed our love for each other by visualizing a beautiful white flower, which turned out to be my favorite flower, the Amaryllis. This gesture strengthened me and gave me comfort. My world turned upside down when my dog suddenly stopped responding altogether. She wouldn't get up and didn't want to urinate anymore. It's unbelievable what the reading gave us. After the conversation with Mirjam, Jacky did manage to pee and took a bite of her favorite snack. Mirjam had indicated to us that Jacky was completely exhausted and that the moment of euthanasia was very close. That night, we slept next to Jacky, and the next morning, she was no longer with us. One of our sheep exhibited different behavior. The veterinarian couldn't identify anything specific, so we isolated the animal from the other sheep to give her more peace from her sisters. She could still hear and see them, though, to prevent her from getting stressed. The next afternoon, Mirjam and I did a beautiful meditation together, the rainbow bridge meditation, and we went through each chakra of Betsy the sheep. But I also had some things to let go of myself. You could tell that Betsy was becoming calmer, and so was I. There was no physical improvement visible, and because she didn't want to get up the next day, we let her go. But this gave us peace, and she passed away peacefully as well.

Our cat was hit by a car and was lying half paralyzed in a large box indoors. We didn't want her to fall and wanted her to feel safe. Is she going to die now? What should we do after she was examined by the vet and given treatment? This was also on Mirjam's advice to have the vet come first. The vet advised us to assess her condition day by day. Mirjam mentioned in the reading that she was living life to the fullest by going out a lot, she was aware of the dangers of cars, and she avoided busy crowds. She clearly indicated that her life stood for freedom, and her partially paralyzed body signaled to her not to live in that way anymore. A few days later, the vet confirmed that her paralysis would not recover, and we saw her lying sadly in her box. We let her go, and despite the pain, I now see a butterfly passing by every day. This reminds us of the freedom our cat wanted and greets us every day.
